The group from Episode 3 gathered at Gilda's house prepares to depart for the Green Tree Bandit's hideout but have been tracked here by the Legate who investigated the crash of the funeral barge, the slavebreak, and the farmhouse uprising. Not ones to turn from a fight, the group are soon overmatched by the official and his skeletal soldiers and the session takes a desperate turn. Knav'n dies and his zombie slays Tenma, but the group rebounds and forms a tactical plan to regain Gilda's house through recovering her holy symbol of the elven mother goddesses…

Character Introductions [1:01:57]
Tenma introduced as the draconic servant of King Kalik of Tyr, sent to Pohjola to spy on Knav'n, dragon servant of Gulg, who Kalik believes is investigating the matter of the dragon of Daj sending it's spawn into Pohjola. Farmen, halfling of a nomadic tribe of Tarn, arrives at Gilda's hut in search of a lost group of his tribe that were captured by Orcs an marched into Pohjola, undoubtedly to the necromancer slave markets. The party enter's Gilda's house in search of warmth and finds blankets, and a holy symbol of Ehlonna, elven mother goddess of the earth.
The Braying of Hounds [0:36:59]
Preparing to depart Gilda's house, the party hears hounds approaching in the snowy darkness, not realizing that they hail the approach of a legate tracker… The game then descends into game mechanics randomity as Brian asks for the stats of his random Tarn animals (-10 atmosphere)
Knav'n's Passing [1:25:03]
The party unwisely chooses to defend Gilda's house from the Legate tracker and his skeletal soldiers pursuing them, rather than flee to the Green Tree Bandits as the DM had expected a party wishing to survive would do. Knav'n attempts to scale down the cliff to flee a and falls 50' to his doom. Minutes later Farmen witnesses the ghost of Knav'n swept into the clouds above and to the afterlife.
Flight to the Forest [1:13:18]
It is now clear that their stand at the house is untenable: Knav'n dead, Warjourn damaged and inert on the field; Farmen leads the retreat.
Camp [0:23:19]
Farmen leads Tenma & Lyrrid on the Kank into the woods to rest and recover. He manages to construct a shelter and keep them safe and warm through the night.
Knav'n's Return, Tenma's Passing [1:36:41]
Knav'n's corpse returns to feast on his living comrades. The savage battle bathes the snow in red blood as Knav'n leaps from neck to neck to gorge on their blood. The bloodthirsty zombie rends Tenma's heart from his chest and drags him to the afterlife.
Gilda's Return [1:07:51]
Farmen spots Gilda and her wolf Bing returning from the druidic sanctuary where she had escorted Hassier a few days earlier. She is distraught to learn of the fate of Chauncy, the wolf she left at home, as well as the library in her home, and beseeches the party to aid her in her return to her house.
A Plan is Hatched [1:55:21]
The player's hatch a plan to break into Gilda's house to retrieve the holy symbol to empower Lyrrid to turn the undead who hold the house. Skeletal archers gun down Lyrrid & Gilda who retreat into the forest for safety while Farmen on his wolf makes a heroic leap through a window into the house where he retrieves the holy symbol.
Ehlonna Smiles through the Storm [0:51:29]
Seeking to recover the inert Warjourn from the field, Lyrrid stumbles through a blizzard and upon the skeletons guarding the house. With holy symbol recovered, she easily turns the undead who hold the house, mission accomplished…
