Warjourn, Flynn, and Farmen make way to the Sanctuary of the Elven Mother Goddesses where they rendezvous with Calandrin, Faerin, and Sylan who had recently secured it from the infestation of undead rats. Gilda sends word to Calandrin to ask his aid in returning her wolf Chauncy and her library that were taken by a Legate when her house was sacked. Gilda departs with Lyrrid to Rushbury Mound, while another group departs the sanctuary and encounters a wayward dwarf who tells a legend of an axe lost to his people long ago; the group departs northeast following his tale and into the Duskmoon Hills where they find a mysterious Painted Cave…
