-Father Beamus is the head of the Temple of the Beggar God in Rushbury Mound, seemingly the only non-evil god the living humans of the region are permitted to worship openly. He is a friend and benefactor to all of the slaves of the city, offering them food and refuge in the temple.
-
-His temple was set fire by [[campaign:people:npc:Durgan-Procurio|Durgan Procurio]], [[campaign:people:npc:elan-kanto|Elan Kanto]]’s henchman when she sought to throw the party off the trail of the slaves that were disappearing from the temple. She later sent Durgan to escort the party to the Lost City of Barakus to allow them to take vengeance on him but they did not. Father Beamus was with them when they confronted Elan Kanto about her treachery to [[campaign:people:npc:powatoc|Powatoc]] by shipping his sacrifices to the [[campaign:places:port-of-shota|Port of Shota]] in the [[campaign:places:dead-lands|Dead Lands]] instead.
