Powatoc is the antithesis of all that is good and holy in the Spindle World. All known lore of him is far to lengthy to recant here, but any who hear his name quickly recall that he is the King of Pohjola who slew all beings of his nation in the Great Cataclysm of the year 553AW of the 2nd Age, harvesting their souls to propel himself into his own apotheosis. Pohjola is now an undead wasteland, and he their god-king of the undead.
Scholars say that this life is the third incarnation of the same soul known as Lum the Mad of the 1st age of the world, before the Uttermost War, and Kas, his second incarnation who wielded the Sword of the Sightless Eye during the Uttermost war and who slew Myrlani, elven queen of Thelenon who had brought peace to the world of Tokal. May another word never be spoken of him lest to record his final demise.
