-Suhail was a priest of Thoth in ancient times who rallied a group of Mitraic crusaders known as the Lions of Yesterday to overthrow the Geomancer empire that once ruled what is now the Ruined Kingdoms. They slew all of the Geomancers except their leader, Tisan, and her henchman, Pnessut, who were both imprisoned, Tisan in Ysawis, and Pnessut in Dark Tower.\\
-
-Kabob first learned of Suhail visiting the Free Cities of the North where he happened upon a shrine in his honor and was visited by his ghost that told of the prophecy of the Nine Falling Stars that led Kabob & Shishka on a series of adventures throughout the Ruined Kingdoms to prevent Tisan from escaping her prison. Though they did recover the the Book The Lions of Tomorrow, locate Ysawis, and freed Suhail’s spirit, their course was diverted to Dark Tower before the prophecy was prevented that would prevent Tisan’s escape…\\
-
-During the Dark Tower adventure the Mind of Balance was recovered by Dur-Adn, and the mind of Thoth bound to it the Spirit of Suhail who advised Dur-Adn and so led the Lions of Tomorrow as he had the Lions of Yesterday to defeat Pnessut at the conclusion of the adventure.\\
-
-After Dark Tower Dur-Adn and the Mind of Balance were transported to the Dead Lands by the Tower of Ulission where Iscus undid the compulsion the Mind had over Dur-Adn to destroy the other soul gems. Dur-Adn pledged himself to Iscus rather than Thoth, and Suhail’s voice fell silent during that time. For over a year it was that way and Dur-Adn went about assisting Honorable John on his quest to aid Kelanen towards his destiny (King of Swords adventure). And then a fatal mistake was made when Honorable John used a genie wish to undo the taint on the Mind that had been polluted by Haffrungs scintillating gem. The wish removed Haffrung’s taint and returned the Mind to its original powers, but also removed Iscus’ abjuration. Dur-Adn was then compelled to seek out and destroy the Heart of Law. He traveled to Mitra’s Fist and did battle with his old friend Fa-Hed. The Heart of Law was destroyed along with part of Fa-Hed’s mind, and the Mind of Balance left Dur-Adn and the world of Tokal forever. Balance had returned and the prophecy of the soul gems concluded at last, though Dur-Adn will not speak the name of Thoth to this day…\\
