Whitefire is the current reigning World Emperor of Virdistan, though that name is actually his wizardly name that comes from the unearthly flames that often unconsciously grace his fingers. His given name is Niveus Ignis Sehitt. He is the Bastard son of The Green Emperor, Hautulin Seheitt and a demon, and half-brother of Elina the Fair.
He rose to the throne of https://dnd.jobsays.net/toc/#book/cswe in the power vacuum after his father forsook his sovereign responsibilities to pursue magical research, eventually becoming apotheosized as Boccob the Uncaring,
a moniker referring to both his persecution of the Mycretians, and forsaking his throne. During these years Queen Murielle Eidn effectively held the seat of power though true power passed to the Black Adders, the emperor’s secret service. Whitefire led the Black Adders during this time and conspired to usurp the throne, eventually murdering his mother in a bloody coup and claiming the throne for himself.
Whereas Viridian emperors have almost all worshiped Armadad Bog, Whitefire is a known Natchai cultist; Natch Ur being the local Virdistan god of the deep earth, blood, and death whose worship arose during the darkest days of the War of the Pious and Philosphers.
Since becoming Emperor, Whitefire’s reign has been known for the re-institution of the Mycretian Massacre Campaigns begun by his father, outlawing Mycretianism, the siege and capture of the Holy Cities, ascension of Pnessut as the Master of the Desert Nomads and civil war within Al Qadim, and war with Pohjolan forces at the Dragon Wall defending the northern provinces of the CSWE.
