Gabriel discovered this ring during Castle of Freya, Episode 3. After attuning to it, he discovered that he was able to open and close doors in the dungeon, and could see through the eyes of the Face with the Starry Eyes at the outside the entrance to the dungeon beneath the castle ruins.
