-Mitra’s ring was the first of the Mitraic relics recovered by Res the Predicted of the [[campaign:organizations:conquerors-brigade|Conqueror's Brigade]] many years ago during the first expedition to the Dark Tower.  Res foolishly took the ring from Mitra’s Fist to go adventuring and disappeared.  Years later Grogan found his undead corpse imprisoned beneath the [[campaign:places:al-qadim:pazaar|Sunken City of Pazaar]], recovered the ring, and gave Res passage to the afterlife.  Also not realizing the significance of the relic, Grogan took it with him upon the [[campaign:adventures:star-gems|Star Gems adventures]], coveting its ability to summon forth the powerful [[campaign:organizations:lion-of-mitra|Lion of Mitra]], [[campaign:people:npc:george|George Prince of High Peaks and Champion of the Faith]].  Unfortunately George was slain on one of those adventures far from his charge and destiny and the ring’s power broken.\\
-
-When the  returned to [[campaign:adventures:dark-tower|Dark Tower]] many years later, they learned that it’s power could be mended by binding to it the soul of another Martyr.  When Aristotle perished in yet another ambush in the Room of Kobolds and Corpses upon the 1st dungeon level, [[campaign:people:npc:rosun|Rosun]] the Lammasu of the White Tower completed the ritual to bind his soul to the ring.
