-__**Description:**__ This is an Actor stopping to catch their breath during an Action Sequence and consider their next actions.  Actors regain Stat Points by Declaring a Pause.

-__**Game Mechanic:**__ Declare any future Phase on the Timeline to perform this action. That future phase MUST be after all currently declared Actions will have been resolved. When the Pause Action is resolved, choose one Stat Point Pool and return to the [[rules:core:gameplay:cards|Actor Hand]] all of those cards that are currently in the [[rules:core:gameplay:cards|Spent Stack]].  Actors may Declare multiple consecutive Pause Actions to regain Stat Points from other Point Pools, although they may only Declare one Pause action per Phase as normal.
