Character Creation

This article details the process to create new player characters or non-player characters in the game.

Spend Build Points

To begin character creation, start by allocating the initial Build Points allocated by the GM to either Stats or Abilities in any combination.

Each Stat point costs one Build Point, and each Ability lists the cost to buy in the ability description. Write down the Abilities bought in that section on the character sheet.

If, after allocating all available Build Points, the player controlling the Actor being built wants more Build Points to spend on character creation, they may buy Disadvantages. Each Disadvantage lists the amount of Build Points it is worth if bought. Add those Build Points to the character sheet, and write down any disadvantages purchased in that section on the character sheet. It is important to discuss Disadvantages with the GM so that they can be worked into the campaign, since it is the GM's job to use them to thwart the PC Actor from there on.
